My Travel Story

During the month of June 2014 I will be traveling to Ghana on a global service, study abroad program through the University of Missouri (Columbia). I will be working with an organization, Progressive Excellence Youth Organization (PEYORG), providing health education to rural audiences and working to improve sanitation in those areas. This education is important to the prevention and understanding of diseases such as HIV/AIDS.

Service through this organization is a tangible way to make a difference in the lives of the individuals in these communities. Any donation you can offer to support the volunteer work which will benefit those in need would be greatly appreciated.
