My Travel Story

There is a sufficiency in the world for man's need but not for man's greed. ~Mohandas K. Gandhi

Hello,

I have signed up to volunteer in a wildlife conservatiion project in Botswana, as an attempt to help the people who are selfishly devoting themselves of protecting nature, animals and the beauty of our planet against the increasingly destructive and mindless actions of those mentally damaged people who get an ego boost by chopping off an elephant's face, take a selfie with a hunted dead lion or the ignorance of those who BELIEVE that a horn made of the same thing as fingernails and animal hooves have magical and medicinal powers - beliefs that led to the recent extinction of the Northen White Rhino.

The remarkable African Elephant challenge our assumptions of human “uniqueness”.

They have a range of emotions comparable to our own, deep feelings, self-awareness, body language, communication skills and matriarchal family structures that put many of us to shame in terms of love and loyalty.

With this project I wish to raise awareness about the importance of mindfulness towards our impact on the planet (The energy we use, the space we take, the food we waste etc. ) as well as being actively involved in helping our amazing planet.

Details about the project :
