My Travel Story

by: Miriam Linderman Start Date: Apr 23, 2014 - End Date: Jun 1, 2014
My husband, Donald Dawson and I, Miriam Linderman, have just completed the third of four CTI Leadership retreats. On returning, two weeks ago, I found myself with an aching heart, anticipating the inevitable loss of the loving container of this program.

A few days later, L.A., one of our leaders, asked us to assist her next Leadership tribe from November 2014 into 2015, for four retreats. We were amazed, surprised and honoured by her request. We would love to assist our beloved L.A., her other co-leader and this new tribe. Help us assist L.A's retreats.

As a couple, life brought us together very late in life and we are blessed to be holding each other with deep love and respect. As individuals, we hold love, justice, freedom, beauty and truth among our main core values. We also have an uncanny way of bringing magical delight with us. We believe that CTI’s Leadership program shatters patterns that no longer serve so that as leaders we are free to make unique contributions for the wellbeing of the planet and its inhabitants. For program leaders to serve their participants, our job would be to ensure that they are free to focus and held by our love and care.

Donald: My Quest is to serve people and animals. There are a lot of lost souls who are judged and bullied and there are animals in need of comfort. They all need champions. The stake I hold at the centre of my quest is freedom and comfort.

Miriam: My Quest is to help people discover their souls through inner work, sacred space and imagination. What I notice is that people need to slow down and pay attention to their own inner wisdom and authority. What I see is that people are very hard and unloving toward themselves - and therefore others - and from this place it is difficult for them to be happy and in loving relationship to life and people. My wish is for people to accept and love themselves as the precious diamonds that they are when championed and seen. The stake I hold at the centre of my quest is that the space holds ease and grace, and life can be lived from a place of trust, no matter what shows up.

We are committed to deepening our own learning as we witness others go through this experience of tribe, and to spread all that we learn back into the world. In order to fund this destination toward Leader Quests we need to cover airfare, travel insurance and car rental. Any amount would be dearly appreciated and we will let you know when our goal is achieved and our dreams have come true.
