Paris
How often have you dreamed of visiting Paris? Did you know there are a lot of fascinating places that don’t require a single penny to admire them? Together with Lucy Adams, a blogger from Buzz Essay, let’s have a look at a few must-see attractions that are ready to take tourists for less than €10.

Notre Dame de Paris

Notre Dame is the most famous church in the world, a majestic monument of architecture and one of the main attractions of Paris. You just can’t miss visiting this place! It combines Romanesque style with a sharp and majestic Gothic style. The interior is decorated with medieval statues, stained glass, and paintings.

Entrance to the cathedral is free, although you have to pay to get to the upper levels.

Working hours: daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Paris Flea Market

You may be surprised by this recommendation, but the Paris Flea Market is not just an ordinary flea market. It’s a market of antiques, where you can find ancient carpets, bear skins, antique tapestries, books, household items and much more. Actually, here you can find more antiques than in many museums, and buy some of them for quite a reasonable price.

The market is open on Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (however, on Monday, most of the shops are closed while the working hours depend on the weather).

The Carnavalet Museum

If you want to dive into the rich history of Paris, be sure to visit the Carnavalet Museum, where you can find more than 100 rooms dedicated to the history of the French capital. The museum’s collection includes about 2,600 paintings, 300,000 engravings, 2,000 sculptures, thousands of pottery and much more interesting cultural heritage.

Permanent exhibitions are free while the temporary are paid. Seniors, children, and students receive a discount. The museum is open daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., except on public holidays and Mondays.

Parc des Buttes Chaumont

This is one of the most comfortable and green areas of Paris. Parc des Buttes Chaumont perfectly combines steep slopes, waterfalls, lakes, bridges, lush greenery, and colorful flowerbeds. If you are even the slightest romantic, be sure to visit Parc des Buttes Chaumont!
