Uncovering the Best of Singapore in 72 hours

Finding the perfect destination to venture on a 72-hour deadline may seem hard to find, but while scrolling through the internet, I came across one of the world’s only island city-state – Singapore. Considering that this business hub and a land of futuristic architecture may not fit my budget, I bookmarked some landmarks to checkout in this 72 hours excursion in South-East Asia.

Day 1:

Botanic Garden – Cluny Rd, Singapore

With a thought to brighten my compass with sweet smell and lush green, I headed out to the Botanic Garden of Singapore. The vital center of this natural, flowering splendor gave me such pleasure to wander around this lush green, flowery environment.

Best Practices To Keep Safe While Staying In A Hotel Room

Travel the World

Traveling around the world is an exciting experience, one that you will remember for the rest of your life. When traveling, the first accommodation option that is generally chosen is a hotel. However, when checking into any hotel, it’s important that you take into consideration the different safety precautions to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable trip without any incidents occurring. For those who are traveling to different countries and booking into a number of different hotels, this expert guide will give you the essential hotel safety tips and best practices that you can incorporate into your travel adventure so you can stay safe at any time of the year.

Safety Tips To Help Make Your Hotel Stay Enjoyable

1. Book Rooms With Good Lock Systems

When booking a hotel room, ask them what type of locking system is on the room doors. With the increase in crime in the world, it’s a good idea to book a hotel room that features either an electronic locking system or that has a deadbolt and chain lock to help reduce the risk of break-ins. It’s also a good idea to choose a hotel that features a peephole on their doors. This allows you to see who is at the door prior to opening it. This will help you and your belongings to stay safe.

Halfway Around Paradise

As winter sets in, the temperature drops and the gas bills start to rise. For many, this means putting away your summer outfits and getting out the heavy duty jackets and waterproof boots. Right? Well, some people may not agree just yet.

For one thing, whenever people in warmer states think of winter time, they picture a fairytale like setting. One that’s filled with glittery snowflakes falling from the sky while listening to the wood crackling as they sit next to the fire. They don’t, however, picture the slippery streets and sidewalks, and the months of enduring strong winds making the roads an unsafe place.

Although winter time is filled with fun and excitement, if you’re anything like me, you admire the cold weather from afar. Although I don’t mind living in the cold weather during the winter time, I do my best to escape the freezing temperatures. However, this task proves to be easier said than done.

After the excitement of wearing big leather jackets and earmuffs fade away, find comfort knowing that you can flee the harsh winters with a vacation to a warmer destination at a low cost.
