My Travel Story

I will be traveling with a group of other volunteers to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. There we will plant gardens to improve food security for the communities, support local economy and conservation efforts, build trails for local community members, and investigate global issues. This trip is for education about culture, and focuses a lot on volunteerism. I will be working with others from an organization called Education First. The trip lasts 8 days total and my proceeds will strictly be for my trip. This includes accomodations, travel, and necessities. Any extra proceeds WILL be donated to the organization that works to help people in need worldwide. I am a huge believer in volunteerism and have never been given the opportunity to volunteer outside of the U.S. It is a dream of mine that I hope you will help make come true.
