My Travel Story

Hello, my name is Sam. I am a student at The Costello School in Basingstoke. I am trying to fundraise £1,845 to travel to Ghana to help educate poor children. These children have limited access to an education and future employment. In partnership with African Adventures (www.arfican-adventures.co.uk) our school is taking about 20 students to Ghana. While we are out there some of us will be helping out in the classroom, by teaching the children maths or english. The others will be helping to build a new community building, which was started by our school only last year. However, as I have already said, it will cost each student £1,845 to go there. I am proposing to do several sponsorship and fundraising events. The £10 a week I currently earn from helping out at the stables will go towards this as well. I will be so grateful for any contribution you can make, thank you.
