Hiya so I like walked into sixth form one day and they said that they want to ship us off to Ghana so at first I was a bit skeptical but now I'm all for it! I really want to go because I think the experience will be really eye opening for me and allow me to broaden my horizons and witness first hand the world beyond Coventry. The main reason I really want to go though is because I find it really hard to look at the conditions some of these children and adults live in and justify my very priveliged lifestyle (clean water, education, steady supply of food and money). I think that anyone who lives in these conditions deserves all the help they can get especially from those fortunate enough to not know what it's like to go hungry or walk possibly miles for water.

While I'm over there I'd be helping as a teaching assistant in a small Ghanan village to hopefully provide the children with a better understanding of Maths or maybe the English language if it's being taught over there. This trip is really important to me because I've always had this feeling that I need to give back in some way, that I've been given all these amazing opportunities but I've never really took a step back to help someone less fortunate than I am. Any donation is very very very greatly appreciated. Thanks for reading!
