My Travel Story

Hi guys,

We are a travel enthusiast couple who finds travelling as a strenthening agent that binds our relationship and soul together. Travelling has always been a part of our relationship. After all, it is in one of our travels that our paths have crossed for the first time, 4 years ago. We've done all our travels in the past by backpacking - cheaper way to travel as we are always travelling on a budget. This way, we can tick off as many of our bucketlist as possible.

We've been to different places in the Philippines, where we are currently residing, but we've never flown out of the country together, 4 happy years into the relationship folks! And we thought that this is the best time for us to expand our explorations further.

We have planned a South Korea (Seoul to be particular) vacation several months ago to kick off our world explorations and we've saved up for this trip for it to become a memorable one for us. We've made an early flight booking some 3 months ago when the airline company opened a seat sale for Sout Korea flights. We chose October 1, 2016 to October 8, 2016 flight dates. After purchasing flight tickets, we started saving up for the accommodations, foods, tours, etc. for our 8 days trip.

Unfortunately, all of our savings went to my grandmother's hospitalization bills and eventually, funeral expenses 2 weeks ago. Something we've never expected to happen, just barely 2 months to our grand vacation. We will not be able to save up for the accommodations and other expenses such as food, transportations and attraction passes in such a short period of time.We are average earners who wish to travel outside our domain. To top of it all, we also have bills to pay on the side. We also cannot re-book our flights as we purchased it during promo period. So it's either we pursue the trip or cancel at once.

But were not stopping there! I know some good hearts will be able to read our story and make this trip possible for us!

In return, you will receive a thank you card in the mail from yours truly, including photos of what your fund helped us with!

We've put up a blog page of our trips. Our plan was to make it a travel journal where other guests, travellers and even first time travellers can check on us for some tips on places we've been to and honest reviews of these places. We regularly check on it but we haven't updated it just yet since we opened it last January 2016:
