My Travel Story

I am incredibly grateful to have this opportunity to be able to travel to such amazing places, this is a once in a lifetime opportunity which will teach me useful skills needed to help me grow such as leadership and team work as well as confidence and perseverance. In this trip we will help building and restoring community buildings such as schools and houses, teach the children in their schools, assist with farming and replant trees to help regrow the forests. Ever since I was little I have wanted to travel abroad, experience new cultures and meet new people. This trip is perfect for this. Not only will I have the chance to talk and befriend the locals I will also meet so many new people who will be doing this trip with me, I chose Cambodia for the amazing culture with its temples and nature for its beautiful mountains. Cambodia is one of the poorest countries in Asia still recovering from the pots khmer regime which had taken the country back in time. My hopes is that this trip will help communities rebuild their villages and lives and also enjoy meeting new people!
