That feeling of fulfillment, of humbleness, of final peace and happiness you have been striving for through ought your life; well, that feeling is finally yours. Your karma is paid off, your time is done, your work is complete, and your question is, where to next?
Now, picture this; this very moment ten years ago today. Where were you? Who did you love? How far away did your dream seem? How many fences did you have left to climb, enemies left to befriend, mistakes left to learn from? But more importantly, who were the people there you knew you couldn't make it without? Who was your unexpected angel that quietly enabled you to continue climbing your ladder to your dreams? We all have someone. Some of us are lucky to have several people. But, few of us, are lucky to be that personfor someone else.
Helping support my campaign means that ten years from today, when my goals are completed, yet endlessly developing and expanding, you will be that person I look back on and thank the heavens I had. I was born and raised in Chicago. I have traveled all through ought the USA. I have hiked 14,000 foot mountains. I have bungee jumped from unspeakable heights. I have parasailed the Atlantic and Surfed the pacific. I have adventured through the Rockies and through the Smokies. I have experienced the Hoover Dam, the Grand Canyon, the St.Louis Arch, the Sears tower, and Las Vegas. I have met amazing souls all across the country. But now, it is time for me to move on to what is next.
I have spent years studying at illinois State University only to learn that the more you see the less you understand. However, the less you understand, the more it makes sense. That is why I am doing what ever it takes to follow my heart across the world. I desire to experience new cultures and immerse myself in new perspectives of humanity. I hope to carry all the love and beauty I've picked up along the way, and spread it onward. I hope to become a nurse and nutritionist in malnourished and impoverished countries. But I can not do it alone. There is so much in this world to experience, so much to learn, so much to feel and love. I want to learn from the world and pass on my teachings. I want to make my life something more meaningful than paying bills until I die. I want to spend my life traveling and making other peoples lives better. I truly believe that this is my calling, that this is my next step, and that you can help.
What I am asking is, will you be that person I look back on and know I couldn't have done it without?
