Volunteer Trip

I will be doing a mental health placement in Sri Lanka, where I will be volunteering in Psychiatric Units and teaching children and adults with learning disabilities. Whilst helping the community both on an individual and communal level, I will also be building my interpersonal skills and gaining a greater understanding of mental health problems and learning difficulties. I am extremely passionate about mental health and it is an area that I want to work in after graduation.
