My Travel Story

I have been studying the Japanese language for almost two years for the prospect of working in Japan after I graduate college. My career goal ever since I was in high school is to work in the video game industry, which is mostly concentrated in Japan. More specifically, I have always made it my goal to work for Nintendo. In order to achieve this goal, I have made it imperative to not only excel in my studies in computer science, but also to become fluent in Japanese. As someone who has already reached an intermediate level in Japanese, the most efficacious teaching I can allow myself to absorb at this point is by practicing with native speakers. I plan on studying abroad with KCP International, which provides an 8-week intensive Japanese study program. I firmly believe that this program will completely change my life in ways I never though were possible, and allow me to make connections with incredible individuals on an international scale.

    My plane tickets have been purchased!
    Thanks to the various donors so far, I have successfully been able to purchase my flights. I was able to find a flight for much cheaper than expected, so the total goal for the fundraiser is now even closer to being reached! 37% is really high; please help me get it higher!
