Studying abroad opens so many doors. Anyone I know that has done it, says it has impacted their lives in an extremely positive way. Studying abroad opens your mind to different cultures, languages, traditions, and histories. When I took time off of college years ago, I always told myself that I would go back; but I wasn't really sure if I would ever really get back to school. Many years later, graduation is creeping closer everyday, and I can't help but feel like I missed a bunch of classic college experiences. Being able to study abroad is the last bit of a normal college life I can do besides actually walking during graduation. Not only would it be a great opportunity, but it would give me valuable networking ties worldwide and memories that last a lifetime.

We're Going on an Excursion to Lille, France!
Lille is a city on the Deûle River, which is located in northern France, near the boarder between Belgium. It is France's fourth biggest city! It is also known as “The Capital des Flandres” with its culture and Flemish roots. Lille is home to France's second largest art collection at The Palais des Beaux-Arts museum. After Paris and Lyon, Lille has the third largest student city in France. Sounds like the culture is very alive in Lille, in 2004, it was elected European Capital of Culture.
