Hello!!!


As many may know and most may not know, volunteering and helping those in need has always been a huge passion of mine. I have been given an amazing opportunity to travel all the way to Indonesia this time to do so! Working with the mentally ill or learning impaired is something I already do on a daily basis and I am ready to take my skills to a foreign location. I believe this internship will allow me to see different methods of treatment and put me in situations that I will not be able to experience in my every day life back home. I chose Indonesia because of their therapeutic practices and I would love to see how hugely they differ from the States. I am excited to see how a different part of the world helps those in their community with their mental needs. I only hope to learn and make a small difference in the lives of those I will be working with in such an amazing location.


During my trip, I will be able to implement different types of therapies with people at all developmental stages as well as teaching them important life skills like English to both children and adults . I do get some time to explore Indonesia and see the beautiful sites it has to offer, but I am mainly excited to work so closely with the community.
