My Travel Story

Hello hello!
Although a born and raised native Californian, I have had the privilege to study in the greater Boston area for my undergraduate career. And as a rising junior, I am beyond stoked to be given the opportunity to study abroad for the fall '17 term at the University of Melbourne in Melbourne, Australia.

So far in my career, my parents have unconditionally supported and financed me for all my airfares to&from Boston and the steadily increasing academic tuition that is appx. $70K/ year. And for this I am so blessed and thankful.

However, I understand Australia is not the most cost-friendly area to reside in. While I have dreamt of  going to Australia since I was seven, I do not wish to be completely dependent on my parents to pay for my airfare, tuition, housing, textbooks, and other life expenses. In addition, since I am an international student, I am required to obtain a visa and medical insurance during my visitation period. In order to lighten some of the burden for my parents, I have recently begun to juggle my academics with a new part-time job.

At Australia, I hope to immerse myself in the culture, partake in exciting lifetime experiences and create fruitful friendships. While I will be taking a full load of courses at the university, I hope to take on an internship in the field of business (consulting, marketing) to develop a better guage of global business relations.

Please help me achieve my goals, any and all donations will be greatly appreciated! Cheers!
