My Travel Story

Hi - I am Alana Bond a school pupil at Llanwern High School in Newport, South Wales. 

I have been given a fantastic once in a lifetime opportunity to travel to Kenya in July 2017 as part of a team of school pupils who will volunteer in a local school there. 

I will have the privilege to work with disadvantaged children to help teach them essential life skills. I am keen to pursue this opportunity especially given the children have very little and I would like to learn as much from them as I hope they will learn from me. 

This will motivate me in the future to do more volunteering, supporting deprived children and making any difference possible to their lives. 

If you could make any donation no matter how small to help fund the trip everything would be gratefully received. 

I will be organising fundraising events over the next 15 months so watch this space.
