Let Rahul see the Angkors
My Travel Story
I first read about the Angkors when I was about 10 years old in a children's book. Since then it has amazed me how grand it would have been in its prime. The largest religious monument of the world and that too of a religion which is a minority in the current world population. As a person of the same religion as those of the temple over there, it has always attracted me. Not only because of religion but because of history that Hinduism was once spread across Asia.
In Cambodia one can go into ancient and recent history at the same time. The only country to reinstate its king and the atrocities of Pol Pot are something which everyone should see to understand what to do and what to not.
The opportunity to backpack through the country and to understand the local culture and life which are calling me to this mystical place. During my journey I plan to blog daily posting various pictures and videos about what I am doing and learning about the people. In the end, I hope to grow as an individual and take away as many memories as I can.
I hope you'll understand the cause and donate whatver you can. :)
