My Travel Story

On my trip to Tanzania in January 2016 I will be participating in an internship at a safari company for a couple days a week, on top of volunteering at local schools that heavily rely on The Leap's volunteers to stay growing. At these schools I will be helping rebuild structures, plant trees so children can have shade to sit under, tutor and mentor young students, and help in any way that is asked. During this trip I will also be volunteering for a whole week at an orphanage for children who have mainly lost their parents to HIV/Aids. After the first six weeks the internship haults and we travel to different parts of the country to experience the culture and volunteer at as many places possible. This trip not only gives me an amazing resume boost, but is a once in a lifetime oppurtunity.
