My Travel Story
Would you like to fund a passionate but very poor Uni student wanting to fulfil her dream to travel to China? Well you’ve come to the right place.
My name is Taylor and I’m an Australian Physics student hoping to study at Hong Kong Baptist University. I’ve already been accepted into HKBU but lack the money to completely fund the trip. I’ve been studying the Mandarin language for the past year in the hopes that I can travel to and immerse myself in Chinese culture, which I am hoping will come true when I study and travel across Hong Kong and China.
I am very passionate about learning the Mandarin language and about Chinese culture. I hope that from this passion I will be able to form long lasting bonds within Chinese and Hong Kongese Scientific communities and thus open up connections between Australian and Asian Scientific communities.
I’ve been accepted to do 1 semester at HKBU, which begins 1st of September and ends 20th of December.
Money from this fundraiser would go towards my flights, international insurance, visa, accommodation and schooling expenses, such as textbooks.
Any help you could give will be extremely appreciated! You would be helping my dream become a reality
