My Travel Story

I'm studying abroad at Dongguk Uni in Seoul. This is an experience of a lifetime for me and I'm looking forward to the experience it will be for me on a personal and educational level. 
I'm studying Women's Studies because I want to make the world a better place for women. I want to work with and for women to help overcome instances of oppression, sexism, racism, and exclusion. I believe that understanding a foreign culture will benefit me immensely in learning how to help women beyond the borders of the USA.
In my home in New Mexico, I'm a freelance reporter for UNM's Daily Lobo. This doesn't bring in the most money, however this job has been one of the greatest opportunities for growth in my lifetime. I plan to continue writing for the Daily Lobo from Seoul, but I know the money from this won't be the best source of income while sustaining myself in a foreign country.
So, I hope to find some other source of income to help me buy food and necessities while overseas. Any little bit helps!
