My Travel Story

First of all let me explain about the video. It is not mine but when I saw it, it solidified my decision to travel to Peru. The picture is from the time when I was with the B'laan Tribe of South Cotabato Philippines. More pictures are on my IG account or Eyeem account which are linked here as well.

Speaking of Eyeem, while on this campaign I am also selling my photos there (no not nudes or anything! Forgive me i have a morbid sense of humour as well) as part of raising funds for meaningful travel. So far I am blessed enough to have had quite a few of them sold. So if anyone is interested in purchasing photos please don't hesitate to do so :)

In addition to that, to raise more funds we are also accepting English tutoring session here in our current homebase in Thailand. However in January I will be leaving for Nepal.

Now to answer the question : Why Peru?

Whenever I think of Peru, the first thing that comes to my mind is Manchu Picchu and the ancient Inca. However I know there is much to be discovered and savoured. That is why I have set my heart to travel and stay in Peru with my sister for six months. As someone who is also currently trying to improve my Spanish skills and is a TEFL teacher as well, staying in Peru will give me the opportunies to experience total immersion of the language and in the same time offer my service in teaching English to the locals I will surely meet there.
In line with my plan trip, I have also looked into the options of staying with local family that can take me in in exchange for whatever help I can give them via helpx.net which will give me the oppurtunity to hopefully better understand and see what living in Peru as a local actually is.
This trip will be the furthest we will be from our home country. A leap to uncertainty and most of all a step to facing our fears of the unknown. With your help we can make this step possible. Thank you. I will make sure that whatever help I get, may it be financial or well wishing or even a single positive thought sent my way; I will pay it forward to every person I meet along the way in this journey.

I will post updates of any development and hopefully we will be able to take you guys with us on our Peru adventure this August 2017. Have a great day :)

Additional way of funding my travel
This is a screenshot of my Eyeem account where I put my photos for sale. This another way for me to fund my travel. One sale at a time is another step closer to Peru.

I will include the link of my Eyeem account so please do give it a visit, buy some(if you like) and share. It will be a great help. Thank you.

Keep believing. Keep putting one foot in front of the other! Good day everyone.
