My Travel Story

I would like to help poverished children the opportunity to travel. I am a former English teacher from Florida, living in Medellin, Colombia. I have a tour agency that takes trips to waterfalls around Antioquia, Colombia. In each "pueblo" outside of Medellin, my itinerary takes guests on history tours while having fun. Colombia has a dark past, but today its culture is thriving. There are history buffs everywhere here that love their country and are very passionate about telling their stories. My intent (as I have no clients as of this writing) is to teach history in a school setting and then travel to the destination we are learning about with guest speakers in each place. I plan to do this in Florida as well when I return. Any funds given will be used to give to students in the state of Florida that would never have the chance to do this, whether it is church groups, family, school trips, etc.
