My Travel Story

Hi!
My name is Hanna Gunnerhed Burt. I am a 17 year old social studies student soon to start my second year at Kungsholmens Gymnasium in Stockholm, Sweden. On mine and my classmates first day in school we were asked what we wished to do with our lives, and my answer was simple. For as long as I can remember my dream has been to help. I want to do whatever I can to make a difference for something or someone in this great big world. That is why, when one of my new-found friends suggested volunteering abroad, I became hooked on the idea and immediately began researching. It did not take long before I found a project I absolutely loved. 

In Hanoi, Vietnam, there is a small orphanage in extreme need of an extra helping hand. My deepest wish is to travel there and work as hard as I can to make a difference for those children, but in order to do so I need your help. Unfortunately there is no way I would be able to acquire all of the money necessary in time for the travel date, and therefore I could not in words express how grateful I would be for any contribution to my dream.
