Jamie's African Adventure
My Travel Story
My trip to Ghana, Africa will consist of volunteering to help improve the education of children, we will be doing construction work, assisting the teachers and coaching: your donations will help contribute to the improvement of their society.
African Adventures started working in Ghana in 2013, after a need for support was identified. The schools we work with do not receive enough government funding to allow them to maintain their facilities, so this is where we focus our support. Where we work, in the Volta region, many children do not go to school at an early age; instead they help their parents with agricultural duties. Our aim is to assist with enhancing what the schools have to offer, in order to encourage more children to attend school earlier. My volunteering will contribute to their society a we will be making an impact with their education and construction work.
