My Travel Story

From May 27- June 17 i was given the opportunity to travel to Finalnd on a summer intensive program with my school, UHD. I am excited to attend my first year in the abroad to finland as i look forward to learn and gain some knowledge on the education system to have an ideal how to built a teacher-student relationship with students. I am wanting to be a postive role model for students to show that nothing is impossible and anything can be acheived no mattter the situation. Even though I am the first in my family to attend the university, with a little help, i will pursue my career as a teacher and be a positive impact in the students lives.

Next year is my final year of my undergraduate degree and I am so excited and grateful to be going on this trip at this pivotal time in my studies. I am looking forward to this cross-cultural experience to help motivate and influence my senior year thesis work.
