I am a Pre-Vet student at Michigan State University and I want to go on this trip to gain veterinary experience. I am very passionate about animals, I love being around them and caring for them. I think working with wildlife animals in South Africa is an opportunity of a lifetime. I would get the chance to work alongside with two wildlife veterinarans for two weeks. I would be working in a clinic or out in the fields doing things like vaccinations, wound treatments, and many other procedures. I would gain a lot of hands on experience with various wildlife species including rhino, buffalo, giraffe, cheetah, and antelope. Being able to travel out of the country allows me to gain knowledge in a different culture and gain experiences that would be a great addition to my application when it comes time for me to apply to vet school at Michigan State University. This trip is costly so beside working and saving on my own, I would appreciate anyone who would like to make a donation toward my trip. Anything helps!
