My Travel Story

Hello Friend,

My name is David Greenberg.  I'm a multimedia & video performance artist, philosopher, and teacher of natural law.

I'm also the founder and creator of two ongoing projects:
  • Hostelevation, a private enterprise I operate, in which I work directly with hostels and boutique hotels, to help them improve their operational efficiency, their services, and their marketing.
  • FreedomVibe.art, an art and education project designed to help create more freedom in the world, through teaching the deeply occulted principles of natural law.
I've been a world citizen, traveler, and occasional digital nomad for most of the past 13 years.
 
Travel has really helped me to heal, grow spiritually, and become a better person. 

Through prior travel, I was able to overcome addictions, and improve both my physical health and my state of mind.

Most recently, I've been traveling here in El Salvador, where I have been volunteering and working in local hostels.

Now, I've felt a calling to continue my travels, specifically to travel to Europe, a region I barely know.

A good friend of mine, an artist and musician, is currently living in Serbia (he's originally from Canada.)  A big part of my motivation to travel specifically to Serbia, is so that we can meet up again, and collaborate further on art projects.

Many of my other friends have also encouraged me to visit Eastern and Central Europe, and that's where I've set my sights.

In fact, my grandfather was born in Romania, so in a way, this will also be a trip to discover my roots.

Due to my extensive skills and experience working in hostels, as well as my skills in technology and multimedia, I don't expect to have any problems finding local projects and work opportunities to sustain myself.

However, I currently earn roughly the equivalent of a minimum wage here, which isn't enough resources to book international travel to Europe.

Hence, this fundraiser.

Being in a whole new region will offer me new experiences and artistic inspiration to continue to grow my projects to the next level.
