I am here to ask you guys to help me fund my travel to South America for volunteer work. I will fly to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil to lend my hand in Community Development for 5 months and I would very much appreciate any financial support. The program is quite costly for me but by all means worth it. Expenses include:

What I will be doing ( Program Description )
International Volunteer HQLimited Volunteers on the Community Development project have the opportunity to work with local organizations in Rio de Janeiro, providing assistance with day to day tasks that allow the staff to focus on big picture initiatives and development within their communities. Volunteer placements include organizations working in health education and awareness, technology, arts, environmental development, media and design. Volunteer work includes painting and other restoration of local community centers, helping to establish new community development programs and assisting with community garden projects and arts programs. Volunteers with at least intermediate-level Portuguese skills can work in outreach campaigns. Creative and industrious volunteers are well suited to this project and can offer great value in developing the sustainability and impact of the organizations' initiatives.
I have met many Brazilians Online while learning their language and more about their culture. They are a humble nation of people and I am happy to have some of them as my closest friends.
