My Travel Story

by: Muhammad Abdullah Saif Start Date: Aug 6, 2017 - End Date: Aug 25, 2017
After deciding to take a gap year after completing my highschool I have realised that I was missing out on the greatest thing in life that being exploring new places. And how great would it be to not only explore new places but to also make a difference to the local communities.
After researching I came across an organisation by the name of ''Plan My Gap Year" that help gap year students volunteer in sustainibilty projects across the globe that are aimed at the uplifting of the local community in various possible ways. The volunteer program for which I have signed up will help endangered species of animals to be rehabilitated into their natural habitats. Similarly I will also be looking after animals that have been a victim of poachers and traffickers. Through this endeavour I want to directly connect to mother nature and lend a helping hand in preserving its beauty for the upcoming generations and after. Since a young age I have been really fond of travelling  but never gotten a chance due to my academics or financial constraints.
