My Travel Story

Have you ever wanted to study abroad? Almost everyone dreams of it yet very few people can make these dreams a reality. My roommate Katie and I have been presented the opportunity to go to England for an Anthropology excavation. On this trip, we will be able to learn hands-on on site of a chapel and graveyard. Along with the excavation, we will be visiting historical and prehistorical locations.
The trip interests us in the sense that our majors are focused on human development (Education and Psychology). We want to use this trip to understand how the past has influenced current times. This trip not only serves an educational purpose but a personal goal. Traveling to an excavation site has peaked our interest given it's "out of the box" nature. The taboo on knowing about death and what remains after has always been something that sparks our interest. We both dream of being able to travel but are "a few bucks short" of being able to take part in it. We hope to make this trip the beginning of our adventures. 
We will also be fundraising locally up till April 30, 2017.
