My Travel Story

My 15 year old son, Joshua,  was invited to go on the High School trip to Europe.   We attended the informational meeting in October 2015.  The trip is twelve days long and will include Paris, Venice, Florence and Rome.  I asked the trip Leader, Joshua's 8th grade teacher, how the students were chosen to be invited on the trip (only 40 high school students were invited).  She said, "I chose students who are responsible, respectful, excellent students, and who would appreciate going on a trip like this."  I was holding back tears.  Joshua wants to be a doctor.  He has a excellent self-discipline.  I feel that he earned this trip and deserves to go.  
The issue - he wants ME to go with him on this awesome adventure!  I was shocked when he asked me to go.  In fact, he said he doesn't want to go without me, "because I helped him get where he is today".  What a wonderful kid!
The cost of the trip = $4,551 for Joshua   and $4,766 for me (parents cost more)
This doesn't include spending money.  
I have reviewed my finances and am doing everything I can to get us to Europe. The monthly payments are $497, which is larger than my vehicle payment.  
We both appreciate ANY help we can get with this trip.
