My Travel Story

Hi, I'm Mia and I am going to be studying abroad in Wellington, New Zealand in Feburary 2019! This will be my first time abroad, completely alone!

This trip will impact my life, because I hope to immerse myself in the Maori culture, as well as see what Wellington and the rest of the country have to offer, and gain professional experience in a foriegn country. I plan on spending the 5 months I'm there to tour both the North and South Islands. Who knows, I could meet my future husband there! 

Of course, this isn't just a random vacation, I will be a full-time student at Massey University, in their Communication college, and will take 12 college credits (roughly 4 classes/week) to fulfill my graduation requirements back at WSU-Pullman. 

The funds that are raised will go towards: airfare, visas, lodging & transportation (in New Zealand), and other miscellanous items needed for such a big trip.
