My Travel Story

Hello eveyone!
My name is Krystel and I am from Dominican Republic. I love social work and I have done volunteer work in my country. I have also worked for non-profit organizations like Good Neighbors International and World Vision International.
I was a flight attendant and I found out that traveling and volunteering are the things that makes me truly happy. I have always dreamed of visiting Canada and I found an organization named Aiesec that holds some projects there so imagine my excitement. 
They have some options for accomodation and meals and that is way cheaper than the money I´d have to come up with without them. The thing is that all travel arragenments are up to me, tickects and visa fees as well. I donot have enough savings to cover the expenses and although my family is willing to support me they cannot give me all of their savings.
I also want to go to Canada and apply to jobs related to my field in business administration and see if I can find an opportunity to change my life. I have a friend in Canada too that I´d love to visit.
I wanna do volunteer work because I myself had a tough life, my mom did her best to raised me up well but we encountered many obstacles. I don´t want children to go though the same struggles. This experience will help me to get a good job in an non-profit organization when I get back to my lovely island.
Please help me out with this, I will always be in debt.
