There is no place like home for the holidays, especially Christmas. Where ever you are, you always want to make it home for the holidays. That is where your heart lies. I was planning to take a vacation in June of 2013. However, I was faced with misfortunate circumstances that prevented me from taking my trip. A few days before I was scheduled to depart for my vacation I was faced with misfortunate circumstances.I was hospitalized for ten days and I lost my job. To make the situation worst the money that I had was stolen from my account while I was in the hospital. The previous year my wallet with my bank card and travel documents was stolen by someone who was close to me. I missed my families and especially my little sister that I haven't seen in almost four years. we lost our mom when she was very young and she have to live with family members. She is growing up to be a nice young lady  in spite of the circumstances she faced. I am not there to tell her just how much I am proud of her. I am not there to tell her just how much I loved and missed her. I missed my friends and members of the community so much. I wish I could have enough so that I could buy some of them a pound of flour or a pound of rice. Things have gotten so rough and many of then can't afford to buy a meal for them or their kids. I am a very passionate person and I always like to help. I would like to sit down with my friends and enjoy a home cook meal just like the days when I was in Jamaica.
