I am so excited to share with everyone reading this that I will be participating in a Spring Global Immersive Experience the Spring semester of 2018. During the first 6 weeks of the semester I will be studying the culture and history of Cuba. From March 4th-11th I will be traveling to Havana, Cuba where I will understand the complex interactions between the environmental, economic and socio-political outcomes of an expected burst of tourism for the newly opened borders of Cuba. Through on-site collaboration with Cuban citizens, myself and fellow ASU students will work to develop strategies to build a Circular Economy for sustainable tourism. The country and culture of Cuba is a place I have always had a deep interest in and I am so excited to be able to participate in this study abroad trip to immerse myself into another culture and experience a new place while broadening my knowledge on sustainability. As I am graduating in May 2018, I am thrilled to be able to participate in a study abroad program before I head off into the next chapter life brings me. I would love your support to help me make this come true, if you cannot do it through funding please share this page and help spread the word! Thank you!!
