Hello
We are Fannie and David. In October 2018, we will be selling almost all of our goods and will be leaving on a 1 to 2 years trip...a mini around the world. We aim to go to Europe, Africa, Asia, Indonesia, without forgetting India and Australia. David is a certified welder, mechanic and personal trainer. His working experience as a team leader can help others to be more effective in their everyday common tasks. As for Fannie, she worked 8 years in the tourism industry and has been a gym personal trainer for more than 2 years now. We like to move, be active, go outside, hike, bike, swim, be in the nature as well as relaxing at home, read, watch podcasts, learn and get inspired. We also started our company, based on inventions David created and we want to kick start 2 products before we leave. We may have to work and refine the company while we are abroad.

Our goal is to discover new ways of living life. We want to remove being materialistic and enjoy life with just as little as we need. We want to be shocked, destabilized ,
changed, inspired by other cultures, people, ways of living, by the beauty of nature and its sceneries, by learning cooking skills and life's habits. So by getting to know different peoples and cultures, it will change the way we think and live. In relation to all these new skills we will get; we want to build our own house one day and we have already been inspired by many different ways of thinking and doing things, and we will be looking around the world on how people, for example, use their kitchen, how they cook, how they use what they have, how they do regular daily tasks, how they deal with their work and personal life, and especially, how littles things make them happy.

We will be living on a low cost effective travel by staying in people's home mostly (using couchsurfing or by staying with people we already know). Because we will be with locals, it will be easier to get impregnated by their life and surroundings. We want to help others as well, do some benevolat, or exchange work for food and lodging. We will be travelling with only a backpack each with all the goods we need for 1 to 2 years.

But we will still have some important big costs, like for transportation (flights, train, bus, boat). And even if we plan on making our own food most of the time, we still have to consider a good budget for these costs, as well as for lodging sometimes. The funds will help us make our trip from a 1 year goal to a 2 year goal. It will give us more time to be changed by what the world has to offer to us.

For all of our donors, we will be greatly thankful as you will be part of making a better world. We can help others by being helped by others. And this will as weel make us realise our dream, which will determine who we will be in the future. And in the end, we can make a better world around us. If ever you own a company, we can post photos or videos with your product or logo, wear the clothing or use the object, as to help you in exchange for your donation.
