My Austrian Road Trip
My parents moved from Graz to Brisbane when they got married, and when they had me they made sure I know my roots. Given the geographical distance between Austria and Australia I haven't had a lot of opportunities to visit my parents' homeland, although I loved it each time I've been.
Since I speak German fluently I've decided to go to a road trip to Austria. My starting point will be Austria's capital - Vienna, followed by Styria (Steiermark) by and Tyrol (Tirol). This time I want to see the "other side" of Austria - the nature, the vineyards, orchards, it's stunning architecture. Also, I want to experience it in a non-touristy way. I want to live as an Austrian for the time I spend there.
My travelling expenses will include a plane ticket (http://bit.ly/28KhjOm), transportation from Vienna airport to the city (http://www.flughafen-wien-taxi.com/), accommodation (https://www.airbnb.com.au/s/Vienna--Austria?s_tag=lSUSYdZw) and public transportation.
Any amount you donate is welcome and I can't wait to start my journey!
