Immortalize Endangered Species
My Travel Story
This first trip will jumpstart my wildlife photography career, bringing me one step closer to my goal of becoming the first black female staff photographer for National Geographic and at the very least put me on their radar. I chose the Mediterranean Woodlands because the Iberian Lynx, located in Portugal is expected to be the first feline subspecies to go extinct in approximately 500 years. The Monk Seal and Barbary Macaque are also a critically endangered species. I have always been passionate about animals and with the passing of the last White Rhino in Africa time is of the essence. Life is short and I no longer want to wait for "the right time".
