My Travel Story

Welcome friends and family... or “benvenuto” as I’ll soon be saying in Florence, Italy! I am extremely ecstatic to announce that I will be spending the Fall semester of 2018 studying abroad in the northern region of Italy, specifically in the city of Florence. While traveling through CIS Abroad, I will be studying Italian language and culture! Through this experience, I hope to gain an expanded appreciation, not only for the culture of Italy, but other European countries as well! I chose to embark upon this journey simply to broaden my perspectives and cultural knowledge for the world that we all live in! Upon my return to the United States, I cannot wait to share my experience with those around me, and hopefully encourage them to do the same! However, the cost of my program is a grand total of $19,495! Coming from a college student that eats ramen noodles for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, this cost is somewhat troubling! With this being said... I am reaching out to all of my friends and family to make this dream of mine come true! To all of those who generously donate, I plan to post frequent status updates, vlogs, photos, and of course, send many postcards! Regardless of whether or not you donate, I cannot wait to share my experience with all of my friends and family! It is people like all of you that support, love, and encourage me beyond my comfortable horizons, and I am so grateful for everyone that has influenced me in some way towards this decision!
