This trip is through my college. It is a trip to Vietnam to expand my knowledge on cultural diversity, as I am a social work major. During my time in Vietnam we will be directly working with underprivileged populations and volunteering within the orphanages. I believe this experience will make me a better social worker and leader. The knowledge I bring back will help me work with the underprivileged communities right here in the USA and advocate for social and political change.
