My Travel Story

My name is Faith and I will be an upcoming sophomore at St. Olaf College. This upcoming January, I will be in Miami and then going abroad to the Netherlands. This is a Sociology study abroad program since I will be majoring in Sociology/Anthropology and Race and Ethnic studies. I decided to major in those fields because of the impact I believe is so important in every aspect, including culture, race, gender and many more. The abroad program itself is called - Immigration: The U.S. and the Netherlands and focuses on the ever growing topic of migration and the consequences and causes people have to go through. This would be my first time going out of the country in a long time and it would mean everything to go without the burden of worrying about finances throughout the trip. The money would go to every day expenses like meals, lodging and hopefully to bring my back one or two souvenirs for my family. If you have any questions/concerns, please contact me. Anything helps!
