My Travel Story

I believe that participating in the GapMedics program will allow me to understand what it takes to become a doctor. I know I can make a difference in my community because I can lend a hand to other young people and somewhat give them guidence on what they might want to do as a career and maybe point them in the direction of GapMedics. I chose Poland because it gives me the opportunity to get the full rigorous experience of an actual hospital and it puts me our of my comfort zone. This is a very meaningful experience that I  have always wanted. If I am fortunate to go to Poland I know that it will set me up in the future for med school and becoming a cardiothoracic surgeon.
