My Travel Story

Have you ever been in an important interview and the interviewer asks: "Where do you see yourself in 5 years?". My answer has always been something along the lines of TRAVELING THE WORLD.

Not to sound SUPER cliche, but this has ALWAYS been a dream of mine (and one I now intend to make a reality). If you knew me at all while I was in school, you knew I had a great love for the Spanish language. In exploring this, I have found that it is not just a love for Spanish, but a love of languages and learning.

If all my hope and dreams were birds, I've discovered a way that I can hit a whole flock with a single stone: teaching English abroad.

Teaching English abroad requires alot of dedication, planning and money. Between getting TEFL certified, booking a flight, and coordinating my first months living expenses, the process CAN tend to be a bit pricey. Which is why I have already began saving up for this. In fact, I couldn't think of a better way to spend my money because I've never been more excited or passionate about a cause in my entire life (I know I'm young but STILL). But... in order to get started I need a bit of help!

Although I am fond of Korean, Japanese, Chinese and Latin American cultures, I have little preference to where I travel and teach. I believe I'll make a difference anywhere I go. I truly believe I have so much to offer the world, even beyond teaching.

My goal is to be on a flight to my new school before the end of November of 2017 and I'm asking for YOUR help to make this happen.

ANY donation amount is GREATLY appreciated.
If you can't make a donation, that's okay too! You can help me out by sharing this page as well. Regardless, if you've read my story, you've already done a great deal to support me. My hope is that I reach out to friends and family (and maybe total strangers) who understand and appreciate my cause.

Again, thanks for listening.
