First, I would like to thank you for viewing my campaign to study the Russian language in Moscow, Russia. For approximately four years, I have been teaching myself Russian, as the language and culture greatly fascinate me. It has certainly been a long journey in the making, but I have finally decided to earn a Russian as a Second Language Certificate through SRAS at Moscow State University. Although I have been accepted into the program, I continue to run into problems inhibiting my dream to study in Russia, such as: my home university cancelling the Russian language studies and my scholarship being taken away due to travel advisories to Russia. So with no help from grants, scholarships, or my home university, I am asking for your help to make my dream a reality.

My chosen program will consist of studying Russian intensively at the notorious Lomonosov Moscow State University. I intend to immensely improve my knowledge of the Russian language in hopes to use the experience for doing futre business in Russia with my business major. Unfortunately, my university no longer offers degrees pertaining to Russian, so I am solely studying there for the credits. During my experience abroad, I hope to gather enough personal experience to speak on the behalf of the Russian people and how the US continues to negatively stereotype them as a whole. In fact, there is a lot we can learn about the culture and their way of life.

I chose this destination because Moscow is the economic and cultural epicenter of Russia, only rivaled by St. Petersburg. The countless activities of the city will provide me with something new every day, while studying at Russia's largest and most beautiful school. The life in Moscow is fast-paced and I am ready to jump into the fast lifestyle of Russia's bussiest city. Possibly the most important aspect of the trip is the result: either putting an end to my beginning goal of traveling to Russia, or sparking lifelong opportunities to travel back and forth for a career. Regardless of the outcome, I need help fulfilling my dream and I can use all the help I can get. I am honored to receive the opportunity and I will certainly not pass it up.

I have included a link to the program, as well as a website I continue to work on to show my great interest of the Russian language.
