In February 2019 I will begin my 4 week nursing placement in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania with Work The World.
I will be doing this as a second year nursing student from Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge, I will be working and learning within a hospital and also in the community. I must fund this placement myself and so am asking for your help in being able to have this opportunity in order to further my studies, gain invaluable experience and work with and help the patients in this developing country.

I will be dedicating my time to giving excellent care to the patients and will relish the opportunity to learn in an environment so different to the NHS I am used to working in. By going on this placement I will gain first hand experience of the different health issues they face in Tanzania, such as HIV and how they help people at different stages of the disease. I am likely to spend a short time in many different wards and clinics, giving me a broad spectrum of skills and knowledge. I am really looking forward to bringing the experience I already have to Tanzania in order to help care for the patients.

Thank you for any donation big or small, I really appreciate any help and I am so grateful to be given this opportunity in gaining this experience during my nursing degree.
