When choosing a career, I always knew that my passion laid closely with children. A dream of mine was to travel to somewhere abroad and be able to help and support children and families in a country unlike my own, to get personally involved in potentially making a difference and to learn more in depth what it’s life is like for people living in a third world country. With this being said, I knew this expedition to Uganda would be a perfect opportunity. I aspire to become a child nurse and I believe this experience will also help me build my knowledge and awareness of the Healthcare industry in a first-hand experience instead of seeing it through the eyes of others on a television screen. I aim to make myself and others more aware of poverty, world hunger and women’s rights; all issues we are lucky not to affect ourselves yet unfortunately, still do with others. Therefore, making me passionate about reaching this goal as I feel these topic needs to have less stigma and more taught in people who are of my younger generation.

Any money raised would go a long way in helping me achieve my goal in partaking in this one in a life time opportunity, so please in any way that you can, help me Make A Difference to the Children of Uganda.

As well as raising money through sponsors, I will be raising money through cake sales, car boot sales, hosting stall at fates and many more events are planne for the future!
