My Travel Story
Every child deserves a chance to dream, learn, and thrive. Yet, in Githurai 45, many street children face daily struggles—lacking food, shelter, and access to education. As a finalist student at Kenyatta University, I’ve witnessed these challenges firsthand and felt a deep calling to make a difference.
My journey began with simple acts of kindness—visiting these children, sharing meals, and listening to their stories. Over time, this grew into a passion for transforming their lives. I aim to expand this ministry by providing sustainable support to help them leave the streets, access education, and build brighter futures.
Through this campaign, I hope to:
Provide Nutritious Meals: Ensure street children have regular access to healthy food.
Support Education: Cover school fees, uniforms, and supplies to get them back in classrooms.
Rehabilitate and Empower: Collaborate with local organizations to provide mentorship, counseling, and life skills training.
Create a Safe Space: Establish a community center where children can find refuge, learn, and grow.
This project is deeply meaningful to me because it’s a way of giving back to my community and creating lasting change. It’s not just about temporary relief—it’s about breaking the cycle of poverty and hopelessness.
