My Travel Story

“You’re not bold enough, you’re not smart enough, you’re not strong enough” That’s what the little voices in my head have been telling me since I was 12 years old; why I can’t study animal sciences, why I can’t work with animals and why I can’t volunteer for animal conservation. Annoying right?

But at 22, I’m resetting my goals and am determined to achieve my lifelong dream of experiencing animal conservation and one day working with wildlife. So why is this trip important to me? Because I have never thought I could convince myself I was capable of doing anything like this and here I am trying to convince you to donate. But ever since I started studying animal science, I’m beginning to believe I can, one day at a time. Volunteering would push me one step further to improving the betterment of animals and for me personally, shutting that little voice up.

On my trip, I will spend two weeks taking a course on predators, learning as much as I possibly can about my favourite animals, and two weeks assisting a wildlife vet (as a qualified vet nurse).

Any donation no matter how big or small is greatly appreciated!
