My name is Joakim and I’m a junior in high school. I currently live in Norway and the thought of living "the American dream" has always been on my mind. I’ve been recently accepted into the ASU- Draper University Entrepreneurship program. I will receive four months of intense training and mentorship experience in Silicon Valley, CA. This program will help me get valuable technical, business and leadership experience skills needed to become a successful entrepreneur, which I’ve always wanted to be.

I’ve been a tech-fanatic since an early age and I’m so excited to be able to develop my technical skills and being able to thrive with like-minded entrepreneurs. By completing this entrepreneurship incubator program, I will earn 15 credits and a Certificate of Entrepreneurship from ASU, to go towards my major in Computer Science. The potential insight and learning experience is immense and will be extremely valuable to shape my career path as a programmer.

The tuition fee for the program is 14 000 dollars. The tuition includes all my classes, housing, meals, and transportation. I’ve been developing applications to try to offset these fees, but I’m still not where I want to be yet.

Words can't even begin to express how valuable this experience would be for me and I’m quite looking forward to developing new skills, experience a whole new country and meet a ton of new people. I would appreciate any amount and thank you for your consideration and support.
